Functionality in alpine terrain was the key focus of the developers of the Trion Pro. The Motion Butterfly back system was designed to ensure good carrying properties, even with heavy loads. The torsionally flexible aluminium frame adapts to the climber’s every movement, transferring the weight optimally to the hips. Even in extreme situations, mountaineers have unimpeded freedom of the upper body and pelvis. Secure load control is ensured, thanks to a balance point that is close to the body and the three dimensional hip belt. The hip belt can be removed in a single movement, converting the Trion Pro to a slimmer model.
The material of the Trion Pro also speaks for itself. All the padding on the back, hip belt and straps consists of two fully laminated and very durable Eva layers. The triple ripstop fibre is the most abrasion-resistant material the developers could find, and it is also waterproof. The seams of the flap pocket have waterproof tapes, to make sure valuable contents stay dry.
