Loading ...Pedestrianism, apart from being a sport, it’s a way that allows joining with nature, to get to know more about what is around us, both architectural and ethnographic elements, in La Palma these are all part of the history, identity and the island collective memory. We are facing a resource extremely valuable that the mayor of the city has been able to preserve and develop, through equipments, rehabilitation and creation of thematic tours as well as old communication paths. So a good level of understanding between people who are from the island and those visiting was reached. The main goal of this event is to project the island as a destination for Walking, the promotion of the slogan “La Palma, Ilha de Pedestrianismo” is being worked same years now.
