This tour goes from the slopes of Lousã mountains, linking Lousã Castle and Nossa Senhora da Piedade chapel to two of the most traditional Slate Villages: Talasnal and Casal Novo.It is also a time travel, by doing this tour we are repeating the very same steps that our ancestors did to go down to Lousã by the only way available.
Vegetation is abundant and the area is rather well protected all seasons Due to the gradient profile it’s a physically demanding walk, it has an option that allows to become shorter (PR2.1).
