The ACT Trail is one of Deuter’s most popular daytrippers on hiking tours, yet is also perfectly suitable for a wide use of leisure activity. Restyled and recoloured, the updated models are also well suited for the urban life. You can simply tuck away, for example, the lightweight hip belts of the models 20 SL & 24 if they are not needed. To have all necessities at hand, the frontal opening with a two-way zip allows direct access to well-buried items, even when the lid is closed. The numerous storing solutions include a spandex front pocket that expands to hold a helmet or jacket, a lid pocket, one zippered and one elastic side pocket as well as a wet laundry compartment.
The ACT Trail’s back construction is made of a tensioned Delrin® frame that is very flexible, yet provides great stability. It thus fits any shape of back comfortably, follows the body’s movements and distributes the load evenly. The back system also cools you down: its Aircontact pads perform a pump effect, where every movement prompts the exchange of air: warm air escapes as fresh air moves in, constantly circulating between your back and the back panel.
