Now the company is launching the first results of the collaboration between Haglöfs and ASICS – Ridge and Observe trail walking shoes.

Footwear that meets the outdoor enthusiast’s high demands
Haglöfs’ footwear is designed to meet the high demands of active outdoor users. As different outdoor activities have different footwear requirements, Haglöfs offers footwear with adapted functions in the areas of Trekking, Hiking and Off-road. All the footwear has been developed using technical solutions that give good stability and ensure good fit throughout its life. In addition, Haglöfs is the only outdoor company to have moldable footbeds from SOLE as standard in all its footwear. The footbed molds to the shape of the foot and provides support for the entire foot, from heel to toe. It also stops the arch from dropping as the wearer walks, thereby preventing off-center loads.
New footwear in collaboration with ASICS
In 2010, Haglöfs was acquired by ASICS – one of the world’s leading sports footwear companies. This has given Haglöfs access to new technology, design capacity, development resources and extensive knowledge of materials. The first results of the collaboration with ASICS are four trail walking shoes. The shoes are softer and lighter than traditional hiking boots, giving the wearer increased comfort and stamina. Like other Haglöfs products, they are versatile and offer stability that can easily cope with everything from boulders and rock outcrops to forest paths with stones and roots.
The Ridge is a very light trail walking shoe in soft, comfortable leather. The shoe is equally suitable for walking in the forest or urban environments.
The Observe collection encompasses three different shoe models. The Observe Mid GT is a mid-height hiking shoe with an upper in durable water-repellent polyester with a Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane which ensures water resistance and good breathability. A great hiking shoe for the summer months.
The Observe GT is a light normal-height shoe with the same material properties as the Observe Mid GT. A highly versatile shoe for forest and urban environment alike.
The Observe is a light shoe with good breathability. The upper is made of water-repellent polyester 3D mesh. An extremely comfortable shoe for walking in the forest or city during the summer months.
